kromiumsun wallpaper, skins and icons
how to hide?
Published on April 8, 2005 By kromiumsun In SkinStudio Help
I'm finding my way around SkinStudio and have successfully imported and tweaked a couple of .msstyles, but one of the things I'm having a hard time with is the user icon-in this case it's a start menu with a very narrow StartPanel.UserPane that should not have a user icon picture.
I've tried what appears to be the obvious, and I'm still seeing my user icon so I'm at a loss. Anyone know what the trick is?

The preview of the skin will always show the icon whether you have it disabled or enabled. So no worries just apply it and see if it shows up.

Click XPTaskbar in preview, click on userpane, on right of preview pic, hide user picture click on it, from drop down
list at bottom of preview pic select enable, save, reapply.

Thanks, Cavan1
I would not have thought to find it under UserPane settings-I kept poking at the UserPic. Works like a charm

No problem, SkinStudio takes a little bit of playing with to learn where and what the settings do.
