Black Taskbar

I'm having a strange issue where every time I go to change my WB skin in the Configuration panel, most (but not all) skins' task bar appear black. I can open up the skin in SkinStudio, and the taskbar looks normal there, I save it and apply, and the taskbar appears as it should, until the next time I go to apply the skin I have to open and save in SkinStudio. Not much rhyme or reason to it-seems to be as I scroll through the list that if it's a newer skin that has transparency on the taskbar (or other parts of the skin), then it appears normal. Also there may be some correlation that the particular skins I'm seeing the issue with are imported from .msstyles. Any ideas? When I have the time I've been looking for similar posts and putting up with it like a 'doctor it hurts when I do this' kind of thing but it's getting old having to open and save skins every time I want to apply WB skins, and this issue didn't exist until the last one or two updates.

Make sure your not using nview.

I don't normally use a taskbar. I have recently loaded up APBs new blind while OD+ was unloaded and had a similar situation (two ends show but the middle is black). For me, opening the start menu via the Windows Key made the rest of the taskbar appear.

also, in some wb skins, the taskbar is clear, so if you are using a dark skin, it will shine thru and show as a black taskbar.
my favorite wb is "clear" because that feature is best shown there. I change wp's every hour so it's like a new wb every time the background changes.

I'm having the same problem with the "LK" Taskbar. Sometimes when I start windows or alter my WB it will show black & flat. If I play around with the settings in WB I can normally restore it to how it should look. Also in the WB preview pane the taskbar looks wrong. I never had a problem till recently.

peejay, you might want to update to the latest version of Windowblinds. You're a couple versions behind. I've seen the X1300 mentioned in a couple other threads also.....can't remember why, but you might want to try updating your drivers.
